Katherine (Katie) Huso is an associate attorney with Matovich, Keller & Murphy. Katie was born in Seoul, South Korea and grew up in Oxnard, California. She earned her Bachelors degree in Political Science from California State University, Long Beach in 2003. She moved to Montana in 2003 where she served as an AmeriCorps volunteer for one year.

Katie attended law school at the University of Montana and obtained her Juris Doctorate degree in 2007. During law school, Katie was a member of NALSA and participated in the NALSA Moot Court competition. She also completed a clinical internship with the law school’s Criminal Defense Clinic where she provided legal assistance to indigent clients.

After graduating from law school, Katie practiced civil litigation in Butte, Montana. Katie joined the firm of Matovich, Keller & Murphy in October 2010. She practices in the areas of general civil litigation and insurance defense. She is admitted to practice before all Montana state courts and the U.S District Court for the District of Montana.

Outside the office, Katie enjoys boating, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
